Markings: The left shoulder of the barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN”. The right shoulder reads “BROWNING MODEL 1885 CALIBER 40-65”. The serial number appears at the lower rear of the receiver. The lever/trigger guard bears the Browning Buck Mark logo.
Barrel Length: 30” Half Octagonal/Round. 
Spirit level globe front sight with inserts. Long range veneer tang sight. Rear sight (1000 yards). Stock Configuration & Condition: The rifle features two-piece checkered select walnut with a schnabel forend, checkered pistol grip, and a Browning shotgun buttpad.
